Purchase Order Migration from ECC to SAP Ariba (P2O) via CIG

Hi everyone,

I'm tasked to identify the feasibility of implementing migration of in-flight Purchase Orders on ECC/ERP system to Ariba Buying/Ariba Network. These in-flight POs from ERP needs to get copied to SAP Ariba Buying after we go live next year. Would you be able to share your experience on this endeavor?

Basically, I'd like to know what are the specific tasks/objects that I will need to enable and prepare in CIG should this be possible to make this interface work. Also, the related tasks or services in Ariba - we only have P2O for Ariba. Hope you could help me on this.

rdemchuk thanks for your input and for sharing the blog it worked. Next we try to reflect the PO Receipt and Invoice to AN but it's another topic. I'll create a separate thread for it. Thanks for the help again.

depending on what In-Flight means, standard POs can easily be sent to Ariba.. I need more detail here, do you already have Ariba? Are you using CIG?

Hi,

In flight right now as per requirement would be open (ordered, received, partially received, partially invoiced) material or service POs to suppliers who are on Ariba Network. We already have Ariba (P2O) and we have CIG.
