Hi All,
My requirement is as follows :
I have an application server ( SAP-WAS ), which is required to make use of Enterprise services from 2 different SAP R/3 systems. As in some ES are on ECC1 and some are on ECC2.This is because currently the WAS is used for 2 different applications.
Is there anyway of making my WAS use ES from these 2 different ECCs ?
Thanks and Regards,
Gaurav.
Hi Gaurav,
I hope you will be consuming this WS of both the ECC in Webdynpro JAVA and deploy this application on ur WAS.
In that case you do not need to publish WS.
Just take the WSDL of the WS which you want to consume and consume in Webdynpro JAVA.
Then create a logical destination on WAS through Visual Admin or NWA if using WAS 7.1
This logical destination will have host name of your ECC system and its user credentials.
U can consume WS from n- number of ECC system without any issue.
Just u need to create a logical destination for each WS to point to its ECC system.
Also all the system sholud be in same LAN....I mean should be able to ping each other.

Hi Gaurav,
you can publish the ES from multiple ECC systems to one WAS(May be CE) system.
Plese find the blog link for reference:
/people/bv.pillai/blog/2007/09/18/configuring-publishing-enterprise-services-from-sap-business-suite-system-into-nwce-netweaver-composition-environment-services-registry
Here in your case you need to confiigure the WAS Service registry in both of you ECC systems as per mentioned in the blog.
