Hi Experts,

We have several (150+) interfaces in SAP PO 7.5 and we are planning to migrate to CPI.

But, we would like to do gradually in a phased manner so this question is regarding Proxy setup.

Can we have some Proxy interfaces running in SAP PO and some other on SAP CPI?

If yes, what are the required settings to be maintained on SAP ECC (SXMB_ADM)?

Can you guide me on MDR on backend that should be used instead of ESR(SPROXY) in SAP PO?

What are the steps and prerequsites that needs to be done both on Backend and SAP CPI to migrate these interfaces with minimal efforts both on Backend and SAP PO? Thank you!

Regards

Ramu.

You can surely maintain multiple destinations by maintaining separate IS_URL based on sender_ID configured in SXMB_ADM. You can search for connecting multiple PO systems to a single ECC system for more details. The procedure is same.

I would defer the answer for MDR though, for others. I do not see a reason why you have migrate to MDR if there is no change in the interface, however, I might be wrong.
