Promises in ABAP - like in Javascript

Do we have Promises in ABAP  ?

I think the closest thing akin to promises would be events or maybe message/push channels depending on the use case you are thinking about.

You can't find "promise" in ABAP, but you can find "asynchronous". Just search.
