Hello Friends,
I'm new to public cloud / PC segments and have a potentially silly question...
S/4HANA public cloud is delivered with 3 Profit Center segments (SSCUI 102357) - 1000_A, 1000_B and 1000C. For clients who won't use segment reporting (i.e. they will only assign 1 segment, e.g. 1000_A, to all Profit Centers), is it acceptable to remove the other 2 defaulted segments from configuration?
The presumption is that these 3 segments are just examples of the 1 to many segments that can be created, that they're not used/assigned in any other SSCUIs, and that there'll therefore be no adverse impact in reducing the number to 1.
Any advice would be much appreciated!
Many thanks,
Jules

Hello Colleagues,
A brief update confirming the solution for this question...
As per the SSCUI excel spreadsheet provided in SAP note '3381770 - Delete entries from configuration activity (SSCUI)'
https://me.sap.com/notes/3381770/ESAP
you cannot delete Segments.
For this particular implementation, the customer agreed that they only need one Segment per Co.Code (1110, 1120 and 1130). We therefore amended the descriptions for 1000_A, 1000_B and 1000_C from:
Segment A, Segment B and Segment C
to:
Segment 1110, Segment 1120 and Segment 1130
assigning these respectively to Profit Centers for the 3 Co.Codes.
Kind regards,
Jules
