Process Variant Management: BC608 Hotel Room Reservation linked to Sales For Automotive Diagrams

Hi SAP Signavio PSMG Team,

I have a subscription to all diagrams related to Sales for Automotive in my P_User ID access to Siganvio Explorer, so I get updates for changes. 

I got one related to changes whitin one Business Capability - BC608, which is within Customer Order and Contract Manamenet (AR51). See screen shot 1

However it is strange that it is related to Sales for Automotive, since it is not visible in the actual Capability Map (Sreen shot 2 and 3)

However, I do see it, connected to Ar51, in the right hand information pannel (see screen shot 4), which comes from the Dictionary association (screen shot 5)

Question is: Why is BC608 associated to Sales for Automotive Business Capability Map in the Dictionary if it is not present as en element in the Capability Map? and will there be an automated way in the future to compare the Elements in a Value Chain Diagram versus the Dictionary Entries, to identify discrepancies like this?

The potential cause of this is that the entry end up there because of an incorrect association of the Variant - Sell Services (Hospitality) to the Sell Products and Services for Automotive? see screen shot 6

thanks a lot for your question and apologies for the late response.

The confusion is caused by different levels of industry specification.
While the diagrams depict the industry specific capabilities per business area for automotive, the business area in the dictionary is a generic one without a industry specification.

While the diagrams show you correctly which capabilities for this business area are in place, the dictionary contains links to all business capabilities regardless if industry specific or not. https://editor.signavio.com/p/hub/dictionary/entry/a1b9925bbb744300ab35c59bf74da839

We understand that this is confusing and will consider it when designing the dictionary and the usage of it on the diagram elements. Sorry!
