procedure for the BAPI/FM to change the equipment bom for ibo2 t-code

dear experts.

what i want to convey is i want to change the existing item component and to add the item  component for equipment. is there any BAPI/FM for this . if there then what is the procedure for that.

Did you already perform some search on CSAI_BOM_MAINTAIN?

yes but i didn't get it can you explain the procedure of that function module that means what are fields that we have to give to change the equipment bom

Start with a KBA such as 3454979 - FM CSAP_MAT_BOM_MAINTAIN create new BOM items rather than change existing items to be able to change items and not create new ones. Also browse the link I provided, many samples already available.
