Problrm while creating Web Dynpro java Iview

Hi All,

I am facing a problem while creating Web Dynpro java iview.

While creation of Web Dynpro iview I selected the Application and when click on the next button it is saying that select at least one application.

Please help me regarding this.

Hi Archana,

It is quite simple.

Just relogin to the portal, before that deploy the application once more to the sever or upload the par file to the portal. Then, select from the list your applicaton name (that will be one step down to the project name, the one you said you are able to select). That will solve your problem.

Hi,

After selecting Web Dynpro Java application - create iViews from deployed Web Dynpro Java applications option to create webdynpro iview, in the next step select Create a single full-page iView from each application variant option, and then in the next step select only application name.

Hi All,

Thanks for your replies.

I tried to create the same iview in two different portals.

I deployed the application in both servers.

But i am able to create the iview in one portal, In another portal I am getting the problem.

Can you please let me know is this any problem with portal settings.

the application may be just 1 step below what you selected in the wizard.

Hi

First you have to deploy the application to server and then you can create a iview in content administration of portal.

Please select the application under local or sap.com folder
