Problems with R3 Change Password Iview for Netweaver Portal 2004 Stack 14

we have a Netweaver Portal 2004 Stack 14. We use our active directory for user authentication at the portal. The users in the R3 system are others then the users in the AD, so we use the usermapping of the portal. Now we've got the problem to change the users passwords in the R3 systems. In EP5 we used an Iview to change the password in the R3 systems, but in NW04 the Iview can't find the usermapping and can't change the password. Can someone tell us a way to change the password in the R3 systems out of the portal? In the personalization of the users is a option to change password. Is there a way to tell these iview to change the password of the mapped reference system?

Thanks for your answers.

Changing your SAP Password

1.Log in to the system - R3.

2.Go to the Help menu at the top of the screen.

3. Select Help from the Help menu.

4. Scroll down to find the 'Change Password' page. There is also a link on it to another page explaining password rules for R3. (The change is made in the logon screen. )

5.Key in your client number, user ID and current password.

6. Click on 'New password' in the application toolbar near the top of the screen. The new password dialogue box will be displayed
