Hello,  in this case the customer has BO 3.1  SP5    32 bits  installed in Windows Server  2008 with 32 GB RAM ,  with Oracle Database  they have several  reports  ,  but recently   aproximately  3 reports  are lasting a lot ( one of them until 9 - 10 hours)    when months ago this reports   delayed c  4-5 hours running

I dont Know what could be happening ...

In the database the  Query runs in 2-3 hours...

I wanted to know criteria to know the    source of this  Bottleneck  because the users cant work  sometimes  the other day  or is neccesary to break the running of the     report

The message  "The Web Intelligence server memory is full. Please log off and re-connect later. (WIS 30280)"   this appears in the history  of the report  which  delays al ot

"

Thanks a lot for the advises

Eduardo

Hi,

there is a Bug already reported to this issue and you should update your Installation to at least XI 3.1 SP5 Patch 6 which resolves this issue.

I would recommend you go to the latest Release which is XI 3.1 SP6 Patch 3. Please check:

http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1886499

Otherwise you could try one of the following Solutions:

Hello Sebastian  thanks a lot for  the information , I am checking the SAP notes you sent , and  I  will suggesto to realise those  procedures before Upgrading , my questions are :

1. In SAP note 1886499 mentions there is a  SP7 For BO 3.1  , but I looked it in the SAP MarketPlace, but It doesnt exists is that right?

2. What are the criteria or  procedures /actions before Upgrading to SP6 Fixpack 3 (for example save files, take backup, etc)  If the application of the SAP Notes doesn't work , and we decided to migrate to XI 3.1 SP6 Patch 3.

Thanks again

regards

Hello,

from Maintenance Scheduke i can see that SP7 for XI 3.1 is planned for Calendar Week 13 which is end of March.

Before applying an Update the usual Backup procedure should take place. You should Backup the CMS DB, the FRS and all your custom Code (If you applied custom Code).

Regards

-Seb.
