Problems installing old Crystal Reports 11.5 on Windows 11

Hello,

we are a software development company.

Parts of our software still use Crystal Reports 11.5. For unknown reasons, we have problems installing this software on newer Windows Systems (for example Windows 11 or Windows Server 2022).

Error Messages:  "Unknown Path... " or "The installation path could not be found"

Sadly, we don't have the original Crystal Reports 11.5 installers.

My 2 questions: 

1. Did anybody of you had the same errors in the past and know how to fix them 
2. Can somebody give me a link for the original Crystal Reports 11.5 installers

No, 11.5 is no longer available from SAP. You could try install using legacy modes, may work. Definitely it has never been tested with Current Os versions.

So more than likely there are dependencies missing that current Windows version no longer installs nor supports.

Really though you should upgrade to CR for VS SP39 and use .NET components, unfortunately you won't be able to use the Embedded Report Designer, no longer ships with Product but does integrate into Visual Studio only.
