Problem with font family

Hello all,

I have to display my SAP script in three languages FR, EN and DE. I've created paragraph formats and a new font family ZNGO.

The problem I am facing is that when I run the SCRIPT for FR language, output (on screen and on printer) shows ZNGO font. But when I run the script (on the same system and same client) for DE and EN language, output shows default font.

I am not able to figure out why is this happening?? Can anyone please help me with this?

Regards,

Anup

Hello Ragu,

Actually ZNGO font was already created in the system and this font was being used in the SCRPIT for FR language.

what i've done is i've copied this script in FR language and now i am making changes relevant to EN and DE.

It is quite possible that ZNGO font was created for FR language only and hence it is not working for EN and DE.

Could you let me know where can we change/view font language?

Hi,

The only solution is check the font family. If its for French you cannot have that, all that matters here is the font family. Then you may need to use different font family for your EN and DE.

Please let me know the font family and your requirement. I can help you.

Feel free to revert back.

Hello Ragu,

Newly created font family for FR is ZNGO (Similiar to Gothic font). I can see this font family via SE73.

If I execute the script for FR language output is porpor.

Now, we have added 2 more countries UK and Germany. So client wants ouput exactly in the same way as that of FR. So I am using ZNGO in paragraph formats. But output for FR an EN doses not contain this font family. I think when script is called in EN and DE language, somehow it does not detect ZNGO font family.

So my question is (again) whether font famliy is langauage dependent? If yes, then how to change/view languages for font family. is there any option in SE73 or any other transaction? If not, then why am i facing this problem?

Hi,

I guess DE and EN does behave in a different way when you use ZNGO. But did you try copying to different printer font by copying ZNGO or else i couldn't see any other option. Unfortunately i don't have system to access now.

This is one way to do it. or else i will explore and let you know.

Feel free to revert back.

Hi,

Check in which language you have created that ZNGO?

or check the font from which you have create ZNGO? Can I know the default font name?

Feel free to revert back.
