Problem in SUM - PREP_INPUT_CHECK/READDATA_EXP - Upgrade SAP BW System

Hello Support,

we want to upgrade our SAP BW System T02 to Netweaver 750 and current sp-Stack - see attached Screenshot.

In SUM we got in PREP_INPUT_CHECK/READDATA_EXP the error 

Could not find suitable DVDs for product NW required for the procedure.

The requested data carrier is not mounted on any of the mount points you entered.

Enter at least the mount point containing Export DVD for product NW.

I found note 2957413 - Incorrect DVD number in SUM phase: PREP_INPUT_CHECK/READDATA_EXP 

So I think I had to change configuration in Maintenance Planner - but I am not sure.

Can you help me out?

Hello Christoph,

you already got an answer in the case you opened:

The root cause of your issue can be explained by Note 0002957413.

"In the Maintenance Planner, system is defined as EHP7 for ERP6.0 and in the stack xml file, target system version is planned as EHP8 for ERP 6.0.

But there is no ERP component installed in the system, such as SAP_APPL and SAP_FIN etc."

But the correct product in T02 system should be EHP7 FOR SAP SEM 6.0

To resolve this issue, please follow the steps outlined in note 2957413:

1. Remove product EHP7 FOR ERP6.0 and SAP ERP 6.0 first.
2. Then add product EHP7 FOR SAP SEM 6.0

REMARK: After activating the above change a new stack XML has to be generated and uploaded to download directory. SUM has to be reset and started from the beginning..
