Hi All,

While creating InfoArea displaying Error in Object editing pop-up window and showing message that “Package Z_TBCPACK does not exist”. This package we used to transport the Cube from testing server to production server. The cube is transported to production server but while I double click that cube the above same message is displaying i.e. displaying Error in Object editing pop-up window and showing message that “Package Z_TBCPACK does not exist”

Please help

Thanks

Bhaskar

Hi Bhaskar,

You can just create in PRD a new package (development class) in SE80.

Hi Bhaskar,

Is it possible that this package has been deleted? You can check if it exists in SE80 > Repository browser > Package.

Hi Bhanu,

The Z_TBCPACK is doesn’t exist in production server, this message has been getting since we transported the cube to the production server and while we trying to open the cube or related object. Now I checked as you said message is getting that “Pack. Z_TBCPACK does not exist” create Object?”

Hi Paul,

Z_TBCPACK needs to be transported to the production server too. Also in which system are you trying to poen the cube: Dev or Prod?

Hi Bhanu

Actually Cube is in Dev, transported to Prd. Z_TBCPACK created in Dev to transport the Cube. Then Cube came to Prd but while we try to open the cube or any related object 1st displaying that message that “ Z_TBCPACK doesn’t exit”

Thanks

"Then Cube came to Prd but while we try to open the cube or any related object "...are you trying to open the cube in Dev or Prod? Have you transported Z_TBCPACK to Prod?

Hi Bhanu,

I am trying to open in Prd, I think I did not transport Z_TBCPACK to Prd. How to check that did i transport the Z_TBCPACK or not?

Thanks

Hi Paul,

There are several ways to do this. You can check the transports in SE03 > Search for objects in requests and tasks > in the object selection type in R3TR DEVC Z_TBCPACK and execute the search. If it comes up in a transport, you can check the logs of this request to see whether it was sent successfully to Production.

You can also look in production table TADIR withe same info to see if Z_TBCPACK exists in Production.

Hope this helps...
