Hello Sankar,
If you are using AAE (Advanced Adapter Engine), then you will not find the SXMB_MONI part on double clicking the first list display of t-code IDX5, as the IE is completely bypassed. In my opinion, this could be a possible reason why you are getting this error.

The RFC connection(type 3) defined for this kind of communication might be using User of type System rather than Service - try changing the user and test again.

Hi,
Can check what error it is showing in sxi_monitor for that message?? Have you defined rfc destination of type R3 in your XI system to your target (SAP R/3) system?? Test if the RFC destination is working fine from your XI to R/3 system.
Thanks!!

Can you check whether user you have used to connect to SAP have sufficient privileges ,also check that the RFC Destination created through IDX1 is fine.
