problem in diagnostics configuration

Hi All,

Below are the system details::

Solman 7.01 (SAP EHP1 for solution manager 7.0)  //Solution Manager 7.0 EHP1 SPS25

Oracle 10.2.0.4.0

SunOS 5.9

Am getting an error while doing diagnostics configuration :Below is the error ,

Further the RFC is working fine  between SOLMANDIAG and WEBADMIN .Let me know if anyone can provide your solutions

Hi,

you are still having the old solution manager system, it is good to update with the latest release.

and your error saying source system cant be set as unicode, so may i ask you are running solution manager as non unicode system.

thats why when non unicode connect to unicode, you are receiving this error.

apply the note 1824505  or do the system patch.

Hi Jhansi ,

Yes the solman system is non -unicode ,thats the reason am getting a lot of issues while performing diagnostics configuration .

Further i am not able to implement the sap note 1824505 , &  the basis support pack level in solman system  is low  too(SAPKB70107).

i hope patching needs to be done .

Let me know if anyother workaround is available too
