Preceding Whitespace is trimmed when an IDoc is sent from SAP Integration Suite

hi all,

We are sending an IDOC from SAP Integration suite to SAP ECC systems, but noticed preceding whitespace is being trimmed in a field when it reaches SAP ECC. The logic in mapping is such that if we have more than 70 characters in file name , then a new segment gets created with remaining characters of filename. And when the 71st character is a whitespace this is being trimmed at SAP ECC.

When we switch on trace or simulate it in Integration Suite the space is visible , but is missing when we check the same in SAP ECC systems.

We tried the same example via SAP PO and noticed the space appearing in SAP ECC.

Filename Example - Batch HF_ID225test_2024xxxxxxxxxx_xxxxx_x_xxx 2024 036_xxx_an_xxxxxxxx Seeds_20240912.pdf

Could someone suggest if this is standard behavior of SAP Integration Suite or if there is any standard solution to achieve expected outcome in SPA ECC
