I have a task which is, PPF: Pack for Inbound delivery, I have to create a custom action definition so as to implement the method for autopack. I have found a standard method for autopack, but I'm facing issue in implementing that in the action definition. Does anyone know how to implement it in the action definition?

Hello @Dhilipkumar
You can not implement a custom PPF action for auto-pack in Public Cloud.
PPF customising and custom action definitions are part of EWM on-prem/PCE. In Public Warehouse Management (Public Cloud), the supported method for auto-packing inbound deliveries is to use Packaging Specifications and the Auto Pack function in the Fiori apps. In other words, set up the packing rules; the system will execute them via the standard UI action, no custom PPF required (or possible.
What to do instead (works in Public Cloud)
Maintain Packaging Specifications for the products/vendor/conditions you need.
In Change Inbound Deliveries (F1706) → Packing Work Centre, select the unpacked items and use Auto Pack / Pack according to Packaging Specification. The system generates HUs according to your specifications. If you require lights-out automation, the Public Cloud pattern is to manage the process via standard applications, jobs, and packaging specifications, rather than adding custom PPF logic.
Why your approach hits a wall
PPF custom actions cannot be extended in Public Warehouse Management; this feature is exclusive to EWM in Private Edition/on-premises. Public Cloud instead offers built-in auto-pack buttons driven by your Packaging Specifications.

If you share a sample material/vendor and the desired HU outcome, I can outline the precise Packaging Specification levels and condition keys you’ll need so that the delivered Auto Pack functions as intended.
