PowerDesigner Repository on Azure SQL Database

We are performing a major transformation and moving large parts of our IT Estate to Azure.

As part of these we are looking at solution options for PowerDesigner, we have a license server running in Azure now on a VM and now we are looking at the Repository option.

Can we run in the Repository on Azure SQL Database to take advantage of the managed option included with Azure?

We would rather do this than create a SQL Server instance hosted within Azure and have our DBAs manage it.

Hello,

Microsoft SQL Azure Database is not currently supported for installing the repository.
The list of supported DBMS can be found in the installation guide.

A feature request is open under CR 790387 to address this inquiry and it is documented in KBA 0002223355 - Repository on Microsoft Azure and Amazon Cloud.
