Hi,
We would like to know if you accept that we can update the NODE.JS by ourselves (without your intervention) independently of the product in order to migrate the NODE.JS to version 20.18.3 and thus correct the detected vulnerabilities (CVE-2025-23083 / CVE-2025-23085 / CVE-2025-23084 (High - 7.7)) - https://nodejs.org/en/blog/vulnerability/january-2025-security-releases

Hello,

Yes, it is indeed possible for you to upgrade node.js on your own.
You just need to ensure that you upgrade to the same major version of node.js, i.e. version 18.
PD 16.7 SP07 supports node.js 18.20.4.

Kind regards

Hi Arnaud, are there any more detailed information about Node.js version supported for individual PD versions (and SPs)? In documentation I found only "PowerDesigner Web Dependencies" chapter, which is only recommending to install latest security updates (of Node.js). I am also going through this Node.js security-based update and I would appreciate more detailed info about which Node.js version is appropriate for which PD version (and SP). Thanks in advance, Ondrej.

Hello Ondrej, I do not have the node.js history information. To determine the node.js version required by your PD copy, simply execute "node -v" in the DOS prompt.

Hi Arnaud, version 18.20.8 is obsolete too. What should PD Web users do in such case?

Hello Ondrej,It is currently planned that the version of Node.js provided with PD 16.7 SP09 will be 22.13.1. For your information, SP09 is expected around July.
