Power Designer Repository - SQL QUERY and repository tables

Hello,

I am trying to create a SQL script to retrieve information of all the tables that were created in power designer from the repository.

That is for example to retrieve information such as under which schema is a certain table in and how many attributes it has, how many primary keys, does certain attributes of the entities have the RGDP flag.

Basicly I want to get a detailed list of the tables created in PwD for its repository.

I have identified certain repository tables that have some of these information such PMTEXT, PMOBJT, PMRLSH, PMCLSS.

What other repository tables can I use, I am not able to find any good documentations on this and with even the tables I have identified I don't know what some of their columns are used for.

Can someone point me in the right direction for some documentation or give me a list of repository table with some explanations.

Thank you in advancee for your help.

Hi,

check Repository Metamodel in your Examples folder. That should help. Be prepared to create a hell of a queries to the database, because you require a lot of information, the location of which is not exactly intuitive in the PD repository. In case you need help with that, feel free to contact me (direct message here or LinkedIn). PowerDesigner customizations and scripting has been my daily bread for the past 16 years.
