Possible options for API Monitoring via SAP Cloud ALM?

We have setup our customer ISUITE - API Mgt and they've been productive since Feb 2024.  They're now expecting to have heavy use of one particular externally exposed API and want to do monitoring & alerting. We know SAP Cloud ALM has Health Monitoring available specifically for SAP Integration Suite (API Management) but that only monitors/alerts on the certificate IF the configuration has a custom domain (which they don't).    Any other thought about how to monitor availability of the API endpoints and alert on errors/thresholds via SAP Cloud ALM?

API Mgt has metrics on calls, etc but there is no 'drill down' into the metric.   They want it from the API Mgt level since that's the externally exposed endpoints.   Any other info they can collect from the backend S/4HANA system in ST03.

Other options currently being considered are detailed in SAP Notes 3222278 & 3096930 - API Management: How to log API interactions to logging server? - SAP for Me  to use Splunk as referenced in the SAP community blog  3222278 - How to enable the detailed logging in API Management Cloud - SAP for Me       Splunk - Part 1 : SAP APIM Logging & Monitoring - SAP Community

If not in SAP Cloud ALM, we are wondering if the BTP 'Application Logging Service' or the new service BTP 'Cloud Logging' is a better option?  However we are unable to find any documentation related to API Management specifically for those services.

Thank you for the feedback!

From SAP Cloud ALM point of view, only the "Certificates" metric is available in the health monitoring for the SAP Integration Suite (API Management)

Please raise your request to the influence page of SAP Cloud ALM for Operations.

We are currently encountering a similar situation. May I ask which option you selected? Additionally, would the use of cloud logging be applicable in this scenario?
