PortalComponentException:Error in init method when I deploy the component

Hi Experts,

I have been customized the component " com.xxx " .But after deployment of .ear files , it throwing an error

"com.sapportals.portal.prt.component.PortalComponentException : Error in init method "  .

Kindly please help to find out the solution for the same.

Regarding your issue I came across the below KBA, Can you please check and follow the resolution steps from that.

1976313 - Runtime error 'portal application not found'

Hi Samanta,

At first excuse me for delay reply , our team studied and analyzed the note and concluded that it is not related to our issue however I applied the above note but still we are encounter the issue  .

please suggest me what should I do !!!!
