Make sure the certificate was loaded into the correct client. 😃 Also...make sure the portal and your ITS are on the same domain (workarounds needed if they are not).

Also, makes sure the ITS settings for SSO have been set right....

Set Profile Parameters (transaction RZ10)

a. Login to client 000.

b. Run transaction RZ10 in R/3.

c. Select your instance profile (ie. the profile for your SAP instance)

d. Set the following parameters:

Parameter: login/accept_sso2_ticket

Allows (1) or locks (0) the logon using SSO ticket.

Available as of SAP Basis 4.6D, as of SAP Basis 4.0 by Support Package

set value to = 1

Parameter: login/create_sso2_ticket

Allows the creation of SSO tickets. (1 = yes, 0 = no)

Available as of SAP Basis 4.6D

set value to = 0

e. Save the new values.

f. Restart the R/3 Server. (This is needed because these profile parameters are loaded at start up of the server.)
