Hi All,
I'm unable to view the portal content - browse and search views are both invisible.
To confirm, i'm not getting an error message and i'm able to go into Content Administration -> Portal Content but im unable to see the 'Browse' and 'Search' tabs, there just not showing up....If I go to content admin -> Permissions, then I can see the tree structure.
it's doesn't seem to be a browser issue because this problem isn't occurring in the production system and the iviews from a front end point of view all seem to be working ok.
I would have though its a permissions issue but not getting an error message and can't seem to spot any differences with my prod system which is working fine. I think the iview which isn't showing is: ContentCatalogTreeCatalog
If anyone could point me in the right direction or have came across this before then please help.
Liam
Hi Liam.
Make sure you access your portal with FQDN. A similar issue is described in [SAP Note 1334956|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1334956].

Hi Liam,
Please check the following steps.
1. Acess the portal using FQDN(Fully Qualified Domain Name) not through the IP address.
2. If you are accessing the portal using FQDN make a host entry ( not mandetory if the entry is there in the server level)
3. Give yourself super admin acess and access content admin.

Thanks for your prompt replies everyone,
I have the super_admin_user assigned, so i'll concentrate on the FQDN side for now, I have took this to the basis team so i'll see what comes back, it must have happened over the weekend but no upgrades were planned on the system. SAP note 1334956 does seem to diagnose the problem.
Thanks for your time and i'll let you know how I get on
Liam
Hi Liam
Please check the required permission for accessing the Portal Content - Browse catalog. Assign system administration and check it.
Also update the host file entry for accessing the sap portal.
