Hi Gurs,
I have a requirement where we are having PO release strategy defined based on the value of the PO, for eg for a certain value of PO I have a release strategy R3 and it must go for three levels of approval, now SAP has provided the standard template 20000075 for releasestepcreated event , but I am not sure if that workflow would trigger three times even if i write the logic in the Exit EXIT_SAPLEBNF_005 to fill the agent table at different levels as i have tried but in vain, or do we have to customize the workflwo template to run it in a loop until all releases happen at all levels, moreover we have a default rule 20000027 how can that be helpful in finding the agents.
as per the documentation when the role resolution for the workflow FRGWF is set to 9 , how can i now achieve the task.
regards
C S Anand.
Hello Santosh !
You can go for using the exit EXIT_SAPLEBNF_005 provided workflow column is set to 9 at following path in SPRO transaction :
Materials Management>Purchasing>Purchase order>Release procedure for purchase orders>Define Release Procedure for Purchase Orders-->Release codes.
My suggestion is first check whether workflow column is set to 1 or 9.
Then check the rule AC20000027 at PFAC whether agent details are populated or not.If so, go ahead with the rule and no need to use exit.
At last check with standard workflow itself. No need to put the release step in loop thrice times. One release step is sufficient to carry out all 3 approval levels.

S.Suresh
