Personas 3.0 Upload file issue

Hello,

We have an issue with the upload of a file in IW51 transaction with PERSONAS 3.0 and the Slipstream Engine.

The file in Z:\sap_se\upload\<filename.ext> is not recognized and the system says "File does not exist" Message 26 701.

We tried the same operation with SAP GUI For Html and it works fine.

For your information, when coming from the Slipstream Engine

We have RG_ENABLED = ‘X’ in function module ITS_QUERY.

Have you any idea about that issue with the Slipstream Engine and what could resolve it ?

Thanks by advance,

Best regards,

Donatien.

Unlike SAP GUI for HTML, Slipstream Engine doesn't need to rely on the intermediate "browser file system" that's typically represented by the drive Z when performing file operations with the local file system. You can access your local files directly.

Hello and thanks for the answer.

In fact, we did a test in the quality machine and it worked fine..

It seems that the problem comes from one wrong parameter on the development machine..

Hi Tamas,

In our case we are on slipstream engine the F4 help opens up and we can browse the file from desktop. But once the selection is made and upload button is clicked, the path that appears on the screen points to Z:\ sap_se\upload\.....

Any idea, what configuration is missing for us?

Hello there, me again (due to a bi migration to SP). I would like to mention that in practice I haven't been able to corroborate what you say. When I try to upload the file with SE, I get another pop-up ('Create attachment and send' title) asking me to upload it in a kind of space similar to Z: in webgui... Thanks in advance for any comment.
