Performance Issue After Converting SAC Stories to Optimized Design Experience

Hello everyone!

I'm sharing an issue we encountered regarding the conversion of SAC stories from the classic design to the optimized design experience.

Tools:

• BW4HANA  
• SAP Analytics Cloud (Live Model connection)

Issue:

After performing the recommended conversions, we began to notice a decline in performance in the converted stories. Where previously they took only a few seconds to load, the initial load time has now increased significantly.

Has anyone else identified a similar case? Are there known possible causes?

Hello, Yes we had the same situation.

To obtain same or better performance, we had to analyse the performance of all scripts (performance analyzer).

We didn't use the view port loading, we only use the background loading process.

Are you using scripts too or simple stories ?
