Overlapping time interval error between data records

Hi Sdns,

I am extracting data from R/3 to upload master data for time dependent infoobject zempdates. The monitor request status is red for PSA in psa maintenance screeen. In monitor it is showing the below errors

Record 84 :ZEMPDATES : Overlapping time intervals of data record 134 with 84 : 99991231'/'20071201

Record 134 :ZEMPDATES : Overlapping time intervals of data record 134 with 84 :'99991231'/'20071201

the error records in psa maintenace screen are

recordno. pernr valid to valid from tech.date hire date

84 8019283 31.12.999 01.12.2007 01.12.2007 01.12.2007

134 8019283 31.12.9999 01.04.2007 01.04.2007 01.04.2007

please provide me the solution for this problem.

Hi karun,

In ECC you will have to identify the employee as there will be dates which overlap for a given info type. You will have to correct the info type and reload the data.

Hi,

the reason for this type error is that the error records are not follow the functionality of the time dependency.

i got this error in R/3 data. so i have changed these records in PA30.

Here zempdates info object doesnn't follow the time dependent functionality.

What it meant is every time dependent infoobject shows three records for every record.

for suppose any record is defined from 21.08.2008 to 18.05.2009.

for this record, time dependent infoobject displays the three records.

intial record strats from 01/0/1000 to 21/08/2008.

second recrd starts from 22/08/2008 to 18/05/2009.

third record starts from 19/05/2009 to 31/12/9999.

this is the functionality of time dependent infoobject.

Check out ur records and arrnage in a similar manner then it will work.
