Overall delivery status issue

In the 'List Sales Order' app, I want to know the meaning of 'Completed' in the overall status.

I think it means the delivery process has been completed.

But why, when I choose 'Completed,' can I still see sales orders that haven't completed picking yet?

Can anyone give me an idea of why 'Completed' is chosen for the overall delivery status?

From a sales order perspective SAP considers the order fully delivered if you all your items are assigned to a delivery but it doesn't necessarily mean the order has been shipped yet. It takes a bit getting used to.
