Hi CPI Experts,
This is outbound proxy interface in CPI and received messages successful from s4hana to CPI but failed in CPI with this error " failed with message "Fault:Quality Of Service not set in the message. This is not an XI message''.
i have already given QOS as BE in XI adapter in CPI.
could you please suggest me on this issue.
thanks in advace.

Also, you have to make sure the proxy message from S4 is coming using proxy framwork. Not SOAMANAGER config. Did you create the integration engine config and RFC destinations to CPI?

Hi Vijay,
Thanks for the response.
pushing the data from SAP RISE ( on-premise) to CPI through cloud connector.
SPROXY configuration is already done in S4hana on-premise system and also configured soamanager configuration in s4hana. without soamanager configuration, they cant able to push the data from s4hana and asking logical port details while triggering the data and hence configured logical port , added cpi endpoint and authentication in the soamannager confirmation.
please suggest me without soamanager configuration , is that proxy outbound scenario will work in SAP.
could you please provide me the solution on this issue.
thanks in advance.

Venkat
Hi Vijay,
just to add on , RFC destination and sender/receiver configuration done in SXMB_ADM and integration engine config done in sxmb_adm and we received the data from SAP (on-premise ) to CPI but failed in CPI with this error Fault:Quality Of Service not set in the message. This is not an XI message.
Please suggest me on this issue.

Venkat
Hello Venkat,
I don't think this is an issue with CPI, the issue looks more with the outbound proxy configuration in SAP.
CPI is expecting RM parameter "QualityOfService", pls check if it is coming from the on-premise system.
As per your screenshot, QoS is "Best Effort", is this a synch scenario? On premise, system may be sending QoS but not matching with what you have set in the CPI XI adapter. See if this help in your case.

Hi Kranti,
Thanks for the response. we received the data from SAP in CPI but failed in CPI with this error ''quality of service is not set in the message. this is not an XI message". i think IP whitelisting is not required becoz data transferring from SAP to CPI.

Venkat
