OpenDocument PVL parameter not considered when using portal iView

Hi all,

I want to control the preferred viewing locale (PVL) using the OpenDocument URL parameter "pvl=de" (for instance).

When configuring this in the Application Parameters field of the iView (from template SAP Business Objects Document Viewer Template) as pvl=de it does not work.

When constructing the URL manually and adding &pvl=en at the end and then putting this into Chrome address bar it works.

Any idea, why in the iView context, it does not work?

By the way: when using a URL iView, it also works.

The portal is on 7.50 SP25 and the BO is a 4.3 server.

Any hints are appreciated?
