Open excel instance activity of SAP Build Process Automation is inactive.

I am using a Mac with desktop agent version 3.25.43. While creating projects in my system, I am not able to use the excel related activities. I have the Excel SDK added in dependencies as well. My excel version is 16.83. Is there something else I need to add, or is this problem related to the Excel version causing the activities to not work?

I was having the same issue. I went back to the agent configuration and in 'Platforms' I switched from Mac to Windows.

The 'Open Excel Instance' activity is now selectable. I guess this activity is not available for Mac.

Have you tried changing the version if Excel SDK? If not please try that.
