object reference not set to an instance of an object with QA Screen XML Mode

Hi experts,

I try to open XML mode of QA Screen from SAP Cloud Application Studio, however, throwing a popup with message "object reference not set to an instance of an object" and can't do change because after that the object throw exception during activation job.

I try to do a copy of another QA Screen. In another publication (https://blogs.sap.com/2016/09/11/recreate-or-copy-screens/), they say this is possible to modify new screen in XML Mode. Somebody knows, why the error? and How I can solve it?

Dear Diego,

I tried in my internal system and QA of XML can be opened without any issues. You could be getting these error if the screen is inactive or in consistent.

Kindly use ‘CheckMate in UI Designer’ and solve the CheckMate error to make UI consistent and then activate the UI component.
