Dear SAP Support
We have sap PO NW 7.5 with java stack, we are planning:

  1. the change of DB Server connected to SAP PO, from the actual server to a new server with different hostname and ip
  2. upgrade Oracle DB version from 12 to Oracle 19 to this new server
  3. Reconnect the new oracle server with 19 version to SAP PO Java.

We know the master note for the oracle upgrade DIGITS - Upgrading to Oracle Database 19c (DBUA) .

In particular we would know:
1) where we can put the sap parameter hostname for the new db on sap po server
2)where are stored the entries of tns name, to be change for the new db connection on sap po
3) how to upgrade the new oracle client to version 19 on sap po
4) if there are others thinks to be consider please share with us.

About the upgrade of oracle, it will do on separate server with also different version of linux (more update), supported by PAM and oracle
I will appreciate your help and support
