Hi All -
We have a story that is structured as a traditional P&L. It has an actual column, a plan column, a variance column and a variance % column. I have been trying to figure out how to just format the 'variance %' column so it either represents the results as a % or atleast the numbers to one decimal place. Everything I attempt, using the Designer Styling, has an effect on the entire report. Does anyone have instructions for just styling a specific column?
Thanks

It can be a bit confusing to find where to set this.

Once you've added your variance and variance % columns you should see them show up in the Designer Builder panel under the Columns section as "Story Calculations".

If you expand the Story Calculations you have an icon to change the formatting for each column.

If you unselect "Use unit of underlying measures" and "Use number formatting of data cells" you can then set the Scale and Decimal places for the column independently of the formatting of the table.

I found this question but my situation is a little different in which I want to change a column which is not a calculation column. Is it possible to change it for a individual column or cell without changing the whole row?
