Not able to make iview of par file com.sap.portal.runtime.logon.par

Hello there,

I want to make iview from com.sap.portal.runtime.logon.par file. I have renamed and tried to deploy the file, it gets deployed but when i try to create an IVIEW out of this par file, it does not show up this par file in tbe list that gets displayed while creating an iview. Wht cud b d reason? How to solve the problem?

Hi,

check out the following threads

under System Administration - Permissions - Portal Permissions - Applications - <YourApplication> --- There the one who should create an iView from a component must have Read permission for the corresponding application.

Permissions - For portal components

Just one question did you solve the problem?

I am in the same place trying to use the logon.par file to create another par proyect to use it from an iview but i had read all the stuff about the permissions but i still having the problem, i can't see the par in the par selection list of the iview creation wizard could you help with this
