I have an input ready query with a field for input, however when I right click on the field there is no option to save data. I have double checked the field in the query on the planning tab is input ready. Can you suggest what I might be missing?
Hi.
What is your end user interface ? WAD ? Analyser ?
Let's say in WAD just add SAVE_DATA command for saving the data.
In analyser there is similar way to save changed data.

Thank you for the suggestions, however the query is in a workbook so WAD is not an option.

Hello
For workbooks, you can create a button and use the save_area command behind that button (you may use the wizard to create it). Another option is clicking on the column header and them you should see the transfer data and save data options in the conext menu. Clikcing on the input cell itself you cannot see it.

Yes, the way to go is 'Data Entry Active' -- >'Save Changed Data'.
It works 100 %.

Hi,
When you right click on your input-ready cell in WAD you'll see an option 'Data Entry Active' and when you expand that you'll see 'Save Changed Data'.
Check this out.
