Hello .
I am new to SQL Anywhere 17 , I am trying to find relevant material to learn SQL Anywhere 17 , any guidance or help would be tremendously appreciated?
so far the only material that seem to be available is SAP SQL Anywhere | SAP Help Portal

The documentation is a very strong starting point for SQL Anywhere 17 specific topics. I read the documentation from cover to cover when I first started (SQL Anywhere 5) and continue to refer to the documentation daily. There are plenty of tutorials (just search for tutorial) that focus on specific features and tasks. There is not much deep coverage of SQL (our SQL is standards compliant for the most part and any deviation is documented) but most statements will include samples showing usage. As to third party materials, the definitive is Breck Carter's SQL Anywhere Studio 9 Developer's Guide which is highly recommended despite its age.

I second these suggestions. FWIW, Breck Carter's book is also available as PDF on his website (https://sqlanywhere.blogspot.com/), there's a link "SQL Anyhere 9 Book" right in the site's menu...
(Note, Breck passed away two years ago, unfortunately, so the site won't get updated anymore, but it has a wealth of helpful information, too.)
