Hi,
To add a new directory in AL11, guess what, you have to use AL11 !
Suppose your servers use Windows and you have defined a directory for output files on the central instance server which can be accessed from any server (CI and DI) as
CIserver\Share
Launch AL11
Click on the "Configure Button".
Enter :
Directory Name :
CIserver\Share
Param. name : DIR_Share (the logical name you choose)
ServerName : all
Press the "Create" button.
And voila, you can use your new directory from AL11 !

Hi jan Bo ,
Once you give your inputs like for directry name, alias name and server name insted of selecting add, you first save the settings and then say add.... make sure that you have given the sernane same as how it looks in SM51 (Ex: hostname_sid_inst#) now go back and see the diffarence....Hope it will rid form your problem.

S.Manu.

If you want to add a path in AL11, you will need to explicitly include in the profile parameter though rz10. For example, the paths which you can see in AL11 can be displayed in rz11 too. But i wonder why you need to add another path in AL11.
Hope this helps..
Cheers,
Jazz
