Netweaver 7.52 SP04 trial install fails

Hi experts,

I have downloaded the NW 7.52 SP04 trial which comes in 11 parts

TD752SP04partNN.rar with NN=01..11

Installing on Ubuntu 18.04.3

Uncompressed successfully with command: unrar x TD752SP04part01.rar... All OK

Made install.sh executable (chmod +x install.sh)

Installed some additional packages required with command running as root

$ apt install csh libaio1 iproute2 netbase uuid-runtime

Then launched the installation as root

$ ./install.sh -s

Agreed to the license statement, selected a global password

It failed when extracting the contents of the Sybase database

...

Now we begin with the installation.
Be patient, this will take a while ...

How did you download the files?

Try using SAP Download Manager, seems there is some check sum errors with the downloaded files.

Hi Priya Bharath,

For this trial the software is packaged into a rar archive divided into 11 parts. It seems that SAP Download Manager cannot be used by members of the development community and for this free trial. In any case the downloads were successful using firefox. Was able to uncompress the rar archive without any checksum errors. The issue occurs when trying to install using the install.sh script provided.

The corrupt file seems to have been included in the rar when packaging the trial content.

If anyone from SAP is reading I would like to know if the content has been tested successfully or if anyone in the Community has managed to complete the installation successfully.

Can you provide the link to the files where you downloaded?

Let me try on my side and check if i too get the check-sum error.
