Need to set system status to inactive in LMDB

Hello All,

We are planning to perform a patch upgrade on a system that is currently in charm configuration.
The CHARM team has requested us to set the system status to inactive in LMDB before proceeding with the upgrade.
Once the upgrade is completed, we will revert the system status to active.

Could you please advise on the specific location in LMDB where I need to set the system status to inactive in order to proceed with the upgrade?

Regards

Appuru

Hi Appuru,

Please check SAP Notes 1322696 - Work with Project Cycles where some systems are unavailable - SAP for Me and 2783899 - Lifecycle Status field help information on LMDB - Solution Manager 7.2 - SAP for Me.

Based on your SolMan version, either LMDB or work modes can be used to mark system is in maintenance mode.

Thanks, Kishan

Thanks Kishan My Solman system is SoLMAN 7.2 SPS17, and currently, the Managed system is configured only for CHARM. Is the following step sufficient for the patch upgrade in Managed system? In LMDB: Select the Managed system. Navigate to the Attributes tab. Change the Lifecycle status from undefined to inactive.
