Need city field as mandatory in delivery address tab in purchase order.

I would like to know if we can make city field as mandatory before saving the PO in S/4HANA Public Cloud.

Hello,

I would think first to the situations in which the city field is not populated in PO item, because normally it should come from plant/storage location address and in some cases, from the business partner master data. And you should have the city field filled in for the organizational elements mentioned above and in the business partner master data.

Otherwise, there could be a possible way to achieve this via extensibility, there are some BAdIs available in which an enhancement could be created:

MM_PUR_S4_PO_FLDCNTRL_SIMPLE

BD_MMPUR_FINAL_CHECK_PO

MM_PUR_S4_PO_CHECK_ALL_ITEMS
