HI EVERYBODY,

I HAVE A DOUBT, FOR EG:

IF I HAVE INFOOBJECT- <b>CUSTOMER,</b> WITH ATTRIBUTES, <b>CUSTNM, CUSTADDR,</b> ASSUMING THAT THESE ARE DISPLAY ATTRIBUTES AND IF I HAVE TWO MORE <b>CUSTSAL, CUSTGRADE</b> ASSUMING THAT THESE TWO ARE NAVIGATIONAL ATTRIBUTES ASSIGENED TO CUSTOMER AS ATTRIBUTES.

WHAT TABLES ARE CREATED IF I PUT CUSTOMER AS A CHARCTERSTIC IN INFOCUBE AND CAN SOMEBODY EXPLAIN ME THE LINK FROM MASTER DATA TABLE TO INFOCUBE.

AND WHICH ATTRIBUTES ARE STORED IN WHICH TABLES LIKE (P, Q, X, Y, S(TRADITIONAL SID TABLE)

AND HOW THEY ARE INTERRELATED R LINKED TO EACH OTHER.PLZ

I AM A BIT CONFUSED.

THANKS AND REGARDS

<b>AND I EVEN READ THAT X AND Y TABLES ARE ALSO SID TABLES ARE THESE SID TABLES FOR NAVIGATIONAL ATTRIBUTES. (I THINK SO SOMEONE CORRECT ME)</b>

Hi,

Yes X and Y are navigational attributes tables..

X table is Time independent Navigational attributes

Y table is for time dependent Navigational attibutes ..

There is some relationship between PQ and X Y tables ..

P table is linked to X table

Q table is linked to Y table ..

Hope it helps ..

hi everybody,

thanks for your info.

so when we have a navigational attribute in infocube then how the link from infocube to the masterdata tables will (becoz i think that eventhough its navigational attribute it stays in P table r Q table)

my assumption is that ( THE LINK IS AS I STATED BELOW).

<b>FACT TABLE - DIMENSION - X / Y SID TABLE - SID TABLE-P/Q MASTER DATA TABLE</b>

I THINK I AM CLEAR ON MY QUESTION ANY BODY PLZ HELP.

THANKS AND REGARDS
