My Inbox Approve PO Comments are not shown in the next level approvers

Hi All,

We are using the S/4 HANA On Premise system and have implemented the MM Approve PO and Approve PR applications.

Basically we are using the Standard Fiori My Inbox Component for Approve reject all the workflows.

We have an issue in which the whenever the user approve/reject the PO, a confirmation popup appears with a option to enter a comment and Submit.

The Comment which we entered are not getting reflected for the next level of approvers and it is required to see the comment entered by the previous approver.

There is a KBA available from SAP from https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/2385266

In that they have requested to implement the BADI and atlast mentioned as follows.

Please add your own logic to the method /IWWRK/IF_WF_WI_BEFORE_UPD_IB~BEFORE_UPDATE.

What will be logic to be written so that the approve/reject comment will be passed on the next level of approvers.

I am trying to solve this same problem but I have not been able to do it. Please if someone can detail the steps necessary to inherit the Approval Comments on the next level of WorkFlow in the MyInbox application ??? It is appreciated

Hi Juan Carlos,

Did you find a solution? Struggling with the same issue. Basically the comment is saved only for first level approver, when it's opened by the second level approver, then it's gone.
