Mutual lock / reciprocal lock in SAP BI - IP / either monthly or daily basis

Hey experts,

there is the following planning scenario for our the customer.

The planner can enter a value at the monthly level -> then it will be distributed automatically on the basis of a calendar.

He can also enter directly on day's level (then the month will be summed up).

We work with 2 aggregation levels: Monthly planning, Days planning

Monthly planning looks like this:

Filter: year, version

rows: positions

columns: months

Now the special requirement: if a value was entered on days' level, the month value must be locked. If entered on month level, must be locked on day level.

Does anyone have a good approach to address this requirement?

we though about unsing a spezial "source" characteristic & characteristic relationships... however managing line drill down is not enough since a matrix is relevant. Postion 1000 for july is input ready, Postion 1000 for august is locked.
