Hello together!
I use an Access Database to store data, which should used in Crystal Reports report. The Database connection is OLE DB.
I want to create the Report trough Visual Studio. When I start the code in Visual Studio, I get a dialog, which wants the database login.
The Problem is, that the Access database has no login data. I tried instead of OLE DB the connection with ODBC, but there I get another failure. Also I tried with different new reports and databases. Always the same...
How can I use the report with Visual Basic and Microsoft Access?
Thank you all, have a nice weekend!

Thank you for your reply!
The Problem was the 32 bit/64 bit thing.
Now, I installed Visual Studio 2019, CR 2016 and 32 bit SKB Kit. It works!

Try Administrator for the user and no PW, if that doesn't work then try using it for both User and PW.
And what version of the Runtime are you using?
What version of Crystal Reports are you using?
Access 64 bit will need Office 64 bit installed to get the Access 64 bit Client. Office 32 I don't recall installs it.
The User/Password could be missed informed error message.
CR simply passes the error from the client to the user so check MS's site for possible solutions to the message.

Hi Don,
thank you for the answer! Unfortunately it doesn't work.

Set the use to Admin and I think the password also needs to be admin.
Not sure if it's an Access default or CR but that should work
