Monitoring errors in SAP AIF monitor that has occurred outside of SAP ecosystem - Outbound scenario

Hi All,
Can SAP AIF track issues/error messages outside of the SAP ecosystem? For example, an outbound IDoc sent from a SAP system. In the SAP system, the IDoc status is displayed as '03', but due to other issues, the data did not reach the receiver system. Can these types of issues be tracked within the SAP AIF monitor, though the problem occurred outside of the SAP system?  Or SAP AIF visibility is restricted to errors/issues that occurs inside of SAP ecosystem?

That would only happen if a status were reported back to the system... i.e. STATUS.SYSTAT01

Hi John,

AIF can only track issues inside the SAP system. Errors which are occurring outside of the SAP system will not be displayed.
