Mock Server with OPA5 testing does not work

Hello folks,

I am working on OPA5 test scripts for a UI5 app with smart controls. When I try to load the app in frame via iStartMyAppInAFrame("../../index.html?responderOn=true"), mockserver is not considered. Instead, service calls are referred to the server. I could not find any additonal steps in the documention. Linked question OPA - Mockserver states same problem and mentions about injecting the code, but could not figure that out either. What is it that I am missing? Can you please help with your inputs.

Hi, can you post your index.html?

In my project, the mockserver is initialized in this file.

Thank you for your response. I do not have any mock server related code in index.html. It just loads up the Component. However, before starting the app in OPA5 test run via iStartMyAppInAFrame, I have mock server simulation and start code as stated in documention MockServer. It even loads local json files at run time. But it does not consider them and loads the metadata and services from server.

Update: I added the code to instantiate mock server via component.js. Now, server is not hit. However with mock metadata, smart controls are not instantiated. Any inputs here?
