Good morning experts,
I am currently facing a strange behavior and I am a bit dry on where to search. Any idea would be appreciated.
I created a complex Star join CV, calling various dimensions. This CV is built in 2 steps. The first one is to join the proper underlying tables to create the fact table. Then, in the star join, this fact table is used as the pivot for dimensions. So far, I don't expect any issue (data wise).
All relations in the star schema are left-outer joins on different parts of the fact table.
When I run a preview of the fact table (so the point of entry of the star schema) I retrieve the data I need! First step is OK.
But, then, when I run a data preview at the start schema level, I am missing some lines, even if the joins between the fact table and the dimensions are left-outer....I also tried s direct SQL on the CV filtering on the specific data I am missing.
Does one of you have an idea where the issue could be coming from ?
